Introduction

This is a recipe I have been using for many years to serve with Corned Beef and Cabbage. This is a recipe I have been using for many years to serve with Corned Beef and Cabbage.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 tbs. Cornstarch
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. Dry mustard
    1 cup of water
    1tbs. Butter
    1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 tbs. horseradish
    2 egg yolks beaten.

Directions

approx. 1 tablespoon per serving. I think.
Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan. Stir over low heat till mixture thickens and boils. Remove from heat add butter, vinegar and horseradish. Stir well and add a small amount of mixture to beaten eggs and mix well. Add egg mixture to pan and return to stove and stir and cook till thickened.
