Ingredients

    Sugar 1/4 C.
    Cornstarch 1 T.
    Fruit with Juice 2 1/2 C.
    Vanilla 1/4 TSP.
    Margerine
    Cinnamon

    Topping:

    Flour 1 C.
    Sugar 1 T.
    Baking Powder 1/2 tsp.
    Salt 1/2 tsp.
    Shortening 1/2 C.
    Milk, 2% 1/2 C.

Directions

Mix sugar and cornstarch in sauce pan
add fruit and juice and bring to boil
For 1 min. stirring constantly
add flavoring, pour into baking pan
dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon

Bake at 325 degrees F. in a steam pan / 1/4 for 8, 1/2 for 16, 1 full for 24

Mix dry ingredients
Cut in shortening
Stir in milk until soft dough formed
drop by tbs. onto hot fruit

Bake for 20 min.
