Ingredients

    1 cup Brown Sugar
    3 tbsp Egg White (Liquid)
    3 tbsp Water
    1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    2 tbsp Butter (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter)
    4 tbsp Applesauce (No Sugar Added)
    3/4 tsp Baking Soda
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks (Toll House)
    1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

1*Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 degrees Celsius)

2*In a medium bowl, cream the butter and applesauce with the brown sugar. Stir in the vanilla, egg white, and water. Sift together the whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the chocolate chunks.

3*Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool for 1 minute on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
