Ingredients

    1 onion diced
    1/2 tsp. garlic finely chopped
    3 cups chicken broth
    1 lb. asparagus
    1/2 potato diced
    1 dash salt
    1/2 tsp. yellow mustard seed
    1 dash spike
    1/2 tsp. ground mustard

Directions

Saute onions and garlic in 1/4 cup chicken broth.
Add asparagus, potato, and remaining stock. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes
remove soup from heat and puree with a food processor or immersion blender. Return to pan and season with spices.
