Ingredients

    2 tbsp butter
    1 onion, minced
    6 cloves garlic
    4 28-oz cans Italian-style tomatoes
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    3 slices turkey bacon
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 lbs dry macaroni
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Melt butter in a skillet; add onion and whole garlic cloves. Saute until onion is golden. Add tomatoes with liquid and simmer over low heat 1 1/2 hours, or until sauce is thick. Add bouillon cubes; dissolve. Add bacon and simmer 30 minutes longer.

When ready to serve, remove galic cloves. Stir in oil. Meanwhile cook macaroni until tender but firm; drain. Pour tomato sauce over macaroni and add cheese. Toss with fork and spoon until sauce and cheese are well distributed.
