Number of Servings: 6


    3-4 lb beef pot roast (I used 3.6 lb)
    1-14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
    1 Tbsp wine vinegar
    1/4 cup water
    1 clove garlic, minced
    6 whole cloves
    1/2 tsp mixed pickling spice
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 bay leaf


1. Trim fat from meat. Cut to fit crockpot.
2. Put all ingredients into crockpot.
3. Cover & cook 8-10 hours.

Servings: Original recipe says 6, so that is what my nutritional calculations are based on. I would say it makes approx. 6-1 cup servings of meat, or 12-1/2 cup servings. It is wonderful over rice or shredded in burritos.
