Number of Servings: 6


    Read "T" as tablespoon, "t" as teaspoon

    1 cup uncooked rice (white, enriched, long grain)
    2 T Country Crock, Calcium plus Vitamin D spread
    8 t Reduced Fat Parmesan Cheese (Kraft)


Cook rice according to directions.

While cooling, mix in butter and parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Makes 6 servings: 1 serving = 1/2 cup cooked rice

I know that the calories can be cut down significantly by not using the Country Crock. The reason I did not is because I am constantly struggling to get my calories in at the end of the day, even after 2 snacks and 2 meals.

For people who need to cut out the calories, get a calorie free spread and recalculate - regardless, its not that many calories for a half cup of rice!
