    1 head cabbage
    2 carrots or 1 pkg baby carrots
    1 pkg fresh string beans
    1 stalk celery
    8 small red potatoes
    1 box Progresso low sodium chicken broth
    black pepper


Makes 8 servings about 1-1/2 cups each. Cut cabbage into small chunks, add sliced carrot, string beans, potatoes cut in half, sliced celery. Bring to a boil and simmer until veggies are tender. Add 8 serving size pieces of smoked turkey sausage and pepper. Simmer until sausage is heated through.

  • This was great! I was looking for something to do with smoked sausage that still was healthy enough to go with my weight watchers. I used the regular smoked sausage and still only ended up with 2 points per cup. My family ate it over rice and liked it also. - 6/3/10
