    1 large sweet potato
    1 1/2 cup of black beans
    2 jalepeno peppers
    1 tsp cilantro
    1 tsp cayenne pepper or chili powder


Peel the yam and then slice it so you get circular pieces!

Spray lightly with oil and bake at 375 degrees until you can pierce the pieces with a fork.

While baking the sweet potato throw the drained black beans, pepper, cilantro, and cayenne pepper in a pot and bring to a boil.

Throw the cooked beans and yams in a bowl and mash them together!

Form patties with your hands and fry up in a lightly oiled frying pan. they are delicate so be careful!

Cook until golden on both sides and serve with some dijon mustard, ketchup, tomatoes and whatever else you put on a burger.
