This is a "stick with you" breakfast. You may use other dried fruit, such as raisins or dried cranberries, for variety. Chopped walnuts are another nice substitution. 1/2 C Dried Fruit (Golden Raisins)
1/4 C Chopped Nuts (Almonds), approximately 1 oz.
2 to 1 1/4 C Water, for cooking
Directions
1. Boil water.
2. Add oats and fruit, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add chopped nuts, cook until water is reduced.
