Hearty, healthy oatmeal Hearty, healthy oatmeal
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    oatmeal, steel cut, or regular 1 Cup
    soy milk 1 Cup (can use low fat or skim milk)
    vanilla 1/4 tsp
    almonds 1/4 slivered almonds
    raisins 1/2 C (can use any dried fruit like cranberries)
    apple grated with skin
    maple syrup (sugar free) 2 Tbs

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 Coat a 1.5 casserole dish or baking pan with cooking spray.

2. Combine all ingredients in large bowl. If you are preparing night before don't add the liquid ingredients such as milk and grated apple until morning

3. Place mixture in casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes
