Belgian Waffles

This recipe makes about 6 waffles, but one half of one is more than filling. The best Belgian waffle recipe I've found...not necessarily the lowest in fat, unfortunately.Submitted by: WAZAROO

Oat and Bean Waffles

This recipe works great with any type of bean. Beans can be soaked overnight, the water drained and changed and the beans will last for approximately 10 days in the refrigerator. The soaked, yet uncooked beans, can also be frozen so they are ready to use another day. It takes about 1/2 cup of dried beans to make 1 cup of soaked beans. Submitted by: KRAVMAGAGIRL

Lo carb Pork Rind Waffles

This is a low carb waffle recipe that uses pork rinds instead of flour (and amazingly doesn't taste a bit like pork rinds). I found it on forum.lowcarber.org. I have modified it to increase splenda, vanilla and cinnamon amounts. It freezes well, and yu can pop them into the toaster in the mornings.Submitted by: TESSA_NJ

Oatmeal & Whole Wheat Pancakes/Waffles

Use this delicious recipe to make healthy and nutritious pancakes, OR waffles. The recipe is very versatile and you can substitute soy milk for regular or even buttermilk and honey for water and sugar substitute or substitute the whole eggs for eggbeaters! It makes a wonderful, filling, and guilt free breakfast. Most pancakes and waffles have about 400 calories each, these only have 110! I usually make about 16 waffles in my Belgian waffle maker, but you could make even more pancakes or mini waffles! Submitted by: LAURAJK90

Low in Sweet Waffles

These whole-grain rich waffles are a filling start to the day. The waffles themselves have no sweetness. Feel free to add the toppings of your choice. My son likes his with country crock spread and sugar free syrup. I prefer mine with a few sprays of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and a little honey drizzled over. No matter what your finishing touch is, you are sure to enjoy these hearty waffles.Submitted by: SUNBEAMJANEAL

Crisp and Fluffy Waffles

Some people think the only difference between a pancake recipe and a waffle recipe is more liquid in the waffle batter (as Bisquick might have you believe) but that is SO not true! If you want airy, delicious, restaurant quality waffles, it takes a bit more effort, but it is very much worth it!Submitted by: LETHALBLONDE
