Apple Cobbler

Ingredients
4 cups apple slices3/4 cup sugar1 teaspoon cinnamon1 1/2 cup baking mix1/2 cup 2% milk1 large egg, beaten3 teaspoons melted shortening
Directions
Mix apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour into a well greased one quart baking dish. Mix together the remaining ingredients and drop by spoonfuls onto fruit. Bake at 400* for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350* and bake until nicely browned and done.

Can also use peaches or cherries.
