Cheater's Channa Masala

Ingredients
1/4 cup water150g broccoli150g cauliflower100 g cooked chickpeas1/2 tbsp curry powder1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp onion powderpinch cinnamon1/4 tsp (or less) grated ginger root1/3 cup water2 tbsp tomato paste1 tsp lemon juice
Directions
In a large, covered saucepan, heat 1/4 cup water.
Add broccoli and cauliflower, cover and steam 5 minutes.
Add chickpeas and heat through.
Stir in curry, garlic and onion powders, cinnamon and ginger. Cook, stirring, until spices are fragrant and steaming water has evaporated - about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the 1/3 cup water and tomato paste and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is thick.
Stir in lemon juice and serve.
