- Number of Servings: 164
Ingredients
Directions
Flax Seed, 5 cups - then grind in blenderParsley, dried, 1/2 cupSalt, 2 tbspGarlic powder, 2 tbspWater
measure and then grind in your blender the flax seed, to the batches you grind add the other ingredients, save for the water.
In a large bowl, combine the flax mixture with about 8 cups of water & stir well. Let sit for 4 - 8 hours - add more water if needed, should be like a thick cake batter.
Spread a layer about 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick of the flax batter onto parchment paper or the tef-flex sheets for your dehydrator. Set the temp for 110 degrees to keep it raw.
Let dry 8 hours, flip them over and peel off the paper/sheets and dry until desired crispness is attained.
Let cool, and cut into cracker sized squares.
Makes about 820 grams of crackers.
Serving size is 40 grams = 8 servings of the recipe
In order to make tracking the amount eaten easier. The number of servings is actually per 5 grams.
So if you have 40 grams of crackers, enter 8 servings, if you have 15 grams, enter 3 servings, 36 grams, enter 7 etc.. It's just easier to do it this way when they are so irregular and my scale measures grams.
