Beef Tips with mushrooms1lbs beef tips2tsp oil1 pint mushrooms1T flour (I used white flour in the calculations)1/3 cup water2T red wine vinegarBrown Rice1 1/2 cups brown rice3 cups waterGreen Bean Almandine 1 package frozen green beans (about 6 cups)2T chopped dry roasted almonds1tsp oil2T red wine vinegar1T soy sauce
Brown Rice
Start brown rice in pan by putting the water in rice in the pan. Cover and let cook according to package instructions.
Beef tips with mushrooms
In a skillet heat 2tsp oil. Add beef and cook until done (about 8 mins). Remove from pan and keep warm.
Add red wine vinegar to pan and add mushrooms.
cook until mushrooms are done (about 8 mins. too)
Mix the flour with 1/3 cup water and add to pan. cook until thickened and bubbly (about 2 minutes)
Green Bean Almandine
add 1tsp oil to a pan and add green beans.
Saute 5 minutes or until green beans are almost done.
Add chopped almonds, red wine vinegar, and soy sauce.
Cook until green beans are done and almonds are just a little tender.
Plate it all together and enjoy. (In our house this is usually where the salt and pepper comes in)
