Basic Mayonnaise Recipe from Scratch

1 Large Egg3/4 cup canola oil1 tbsp white vinegar1 tsp salt1 tsp white pepper1 tsp ground coriander or curry powder2 tbsp of warm water to thin the mayonnaise
1) Using a hand blender and tall cup that can fit the hand blender all the way down, add oil, egg and vinegar, half the spices and then blend. (follow the same instructions if using a blender)
2) Taste, add remaining spices to your liking as needed. Use warm water to thin the mayonnaise to your liking (use none, some, or all of it - just remember, you can add, but never take away)
