Ingredients
1/2 popcorn kernels (unpopped)1/4 C oil (sunflower or canola is best)1.5 - 3 tbsp sugar (depending how sweet you want)salt
Directions
Place oil and 3 kernels into a large pot on medium heat. Once those three kernels have popped, your oil is hot enough. Pour in the popcorn, sprinkle sugar on top, and cover. Once the popcorn starts popping, shake the pan continuously until the popcorn is popped (3 counts between each pop means its done). Transfer the kettle corn to a serving bowl and salt lightly. Makes 4-5 2-cup servings.
