Ingredients
Any type of soy milk - 2 CWhole Wheat flour - 4 TNutritional Yeast Flakes - 4TSucanat or another sugar - 2TSalt - 1 tspWhole Wheat bread - 12 slicesRecipe can be halved.
Directions
Mix dry ingredients together then add soy milk. Mix with whisk. Dip slices of bread one at a time into the mixture until soaks through but is not soggy. Then fry the slices with cooking spry or oil over medium heat until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Serve hot with cinnamon and sugar or syrup. Cinnamon, nutmeg and/or vanilla can be added to mix for flavor variance.
Serving size: 2 toasts, can be made ahead and frozen.
