2 cups all-purpose flour1 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt2 large or extra large eggs, separated into whites and yolks1 3/4 cups milk4 Tbsp butter, melted1 Tbsp sugar
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in large bowl and mix to combine. Separate eggs. Combine egg yolks with milk and sugar, add melted butter, and mix well. Preheat waffle iron. Add liquid mixture to flour mixture and stir lightly until just combined. In separate bowl, beat egg whites to medium-stiff peaks. Fold egg whites into rest of batter. Cook in lightly greased/sprayed waffle maker.
