Ingredients
-1/2 cup of skim milk-2 cups of sugar (substitutes will not work, because sugar is what helps this set up and stay firm)-1 stick of butter-3 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened-1/2 cup of peanut butter (crunchy or smooth, your choice)-3 cups Oats/Oatmeal (NOT instant!)-1tsp vanilla extract-2 feet wax paper
Directions
The key to a successful cookie is being prepared. Lay out the wax paper on a flat surface first. Get all your ingredients pre-measured. Once we start cooking, you will not have time to measure them without a bad cookie. Bad cookies are those that crumble or those that won't set.

In a medium saucepan mix milk, sugar, butter and cocoa. Keep on medium to medium high heat. Stir constantly. Do NOT quit stirring, this is important. Bring to a rapid or rolling boil. Stir for 1 minute while boiling. No more, no less. Then, remove from heat.

While still stirring, add the vanilla, then the peanut butter, then the oats. Once thoroughly mixed, drop by the spoonful onto wax paper. Work quickly, cookies will start to firm up as the mixture stands. This will make anywhere from 30-40 cookies, depending on the size you make. Recipe is calculated for 36 cookies.
