sloppy lentils

Ingredients
1 c lentils2-3 c water1/2 onion diced1/2 green bell pepper diced1 can Manwhich sauce
Directions
dice onion and pepper and saute in a small amount of water until tender and set aside.

Rinse lentils and combine with water in saucepan. Simmer until tender (30 to 45 minutes)

Add cooked lentils to onion and pepper and add manwhich sauce. Stir until combined and heated through

Serve on whole wheat bread or over brown rice.

Serving Size: makes 6 servings of approximately 1/2 cup each
