Crockpot Potato Leek Soup

-4 russet potatoes, peeled and diced-4 leeks, whites only, thinnly sliced-5 cups chicken stock (or water)-4 oz white wine (optional)-2 oz milk (optional)-2 tbsp unsalted buttersalt and pepper to taste
Place potatoes, leeks, wine, and stock in crockpot and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
Puree half of the soup and combine it back into the crockpot with the rest. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper until melted/combined.
Serving Size: about 6-8 servings
