Chicken Curry

1/3 cup canola oil2 cups finely chopped onions1 3-inch cinnamon stick3 tbsp finely chopped garlic2 tbsp chopped ginger2 cups chopped tomatoes1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1 tsp tumeric1 tbsp ground cumin1 tbsp ground coriander1 tbsp garam masala1/2 tsp cayenne pepper1.5 lbs of chicken breast, chopped1 cup fat free sour cream2 cups of water
pan on medium cook oil, onions and cinnamon for 5 minutes until onions are browned
add garlic for 4 minutes
add ginger, tomatoes, salt, black pepper, tumeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, cayenne pepper and cook for 5 minutes
add chicken and cook for 10 minutes
add sour cream and water and stir well
increase heat to medium-high, when it starts to boil reduce to medium, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
