Parsnip Pear Soup

Ingredients
3 TB butter or margarine4 parsnips, peeled and sliced3 ripe or over-ripe pears, peeled and sliced3 cloves garlic, chopped1 small onion, chopped2 C Kitchen Basics low sodium Vegetable Broth3 Bay leaves
Directions
Add butter to large cooking pot. Melt and add parsnips, onion, garlic, pears. Cover and let ingredients brown and soften. Lower heat and add broth and bay leaves. Simmer for 40 min- 1hr.

Blend with hand mixer or blender.
