Renee's Beef Stew

Ingredients
2.5 pounds of beef cubes48 oz can of beef broth1/4 cup flourseasonings (garlic, onion,parsley,chili powder, salt,pepper)canola spray oil4 russett potatoes1 cup crinkle cut frozen carrots1 can whole string beans2 TBS cornstarch
Directions
season beef and toss in flour, spray pan with oil and heat. brown beef. meanwhile peel and cut potatoes and place in crock pot. add beef. broth, you can add more seasonings (onion powder, garlic powder, kitchen bouquet, chili powder). cook on low for 8 hrs or high 6. add carrots and hour before done, and add string beans 20mins before done. if you want to thicken the stew. what works best for me. 2 TBS of cornstarch in a coffee cup, add 1/2 cup of COLD water. Stir still smooth. take broth out of crock and put in a sauce pan. heat to boil then slowly add the cornstarch while stirring. add back to crock. and serve
