Liver and Onions

Ingredients
1 tbsp Butter3 large onions, sliced (4.5 cups)1 tbsp Butter21 oz Beef liver, slivered1 tsp Pepper, black 1 tsp Sage, ground Juice of 2 whole lemons
Directions
Melt 1 Tbsp butter in large skillet. Saute onions until soft; push to edges of pan. Melt remaining 1 Tbsp butter in center of pan; saute liver until no longer pink. Sprinkle with sage and pepper. Pour lemon juice over; heat through.
