Ingredients
18.0 oz Beef, round steak1.0 cup Cooked Onion0.5 cup Mushrooms, canned0.75 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared3.0 fl. oz Sherry, dry0.25 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour0.5 tsp Paprika0.5 tsp Thyme, ground4.0 1tsp Olive Oil
Directions
Brown mushrooms if using fresh, in oil in a sauce pan, line bottom of crock pot with mushroom, canned can go straight in the pot. Next brown steaks in same sauce pan 1.5 to 2 minutes per side on medium low heat. Layer in crock pot. In same sauce pan Saute onion in oil and drippings from beef with paprika and thyme Add flour to form a roue add .75 cup chicken stock and .25 cup sherry mix and scrape pan add water to get the consistency right. Add to crock pot on top of steaks. Cook on low 8 hours.
