Cashew Masala Paste

Ingredients
1 medium garlic clove, chopped1/4 cup raw cashews1/4 tsp crushed red pepper1 tsp ground cumin1 tsp ground corriander1 medium serrano pepper, stemmed and seeded1 tsp fresh ginger, peeled and grated1/2 tsp salt1/4 cup water
Directions
Heat small pan over low heat. add first 5 ingredients to pan and stir occasionally intil spices begin to brown and give off an aroma - 3 to 5 minutes.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and grind to a fine paste. set aside.
