0.50 cup Butter, unsalted 0.50 cup Shortening 1 cup, chopped Pecans 1 tsp Baking Soda 0.75 cup, packed Brown Sugar 0.50 cup Granulated Sugar 1 large Egg white, fresh 1 tsp vanilla flavoring 1 serving Salt, table (teaspoon) 2 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour 15 tbsp Chocolate, Nestle Real Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350
In a small bowl mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl combine butter, shortening, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat until creamy.
Beat in egg, gradually add flour mixture and mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts with spoon and mix well.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet 10 minutes.
