Lighter Mushroom Bacon quiche

Ingredients
1.0 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)4.0 serving Hill Country Fare Grade A Large Eggs5.0 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, shredded0.5 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh2.0 tbsp Butter, unsalted1.0 piece (1/8 of 9" crust) Pie crust, frozen, ready-to-bake3.0 tbsp Hormel Bacon Bits0.2 cup, chopped Onions, rawSalt, pepper, desired herbs to taste
Directions
-Thaw pie crust and line greased pie pan with it. Pre-cook in a hot oven with dried beans or pie weights, about 8-10 minutes or until crust looks dry. -Beat eggs with milk and add salt, pepper and herbs. Once combined, set aside. -Sautee onions and mushrooms in a nonstick skillet until released water evaporates. Add to bottom of crust (don't forget to remove your pie weights, first) along with bacon and 1/2 the cheese. -Pour milk and egg mixture slowly over filling, careful bot to dislodge it, then sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top. -Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes on center rack, then lower heat to 325 F. Cook for another 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
