Linda's Basil Macaroni Salad

2 cup elbow shaped Macaroni, enriched 18 leaves Basil 2 dash Salt 2 tbsp Olive Oil 2 tbsp Cider Vinegar 3 tbsp Lime Juice, juice of 1 lime 2 tsp Granulated Sugar 1 dash Pepper, black .25 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap .5 pepper, large (3-3/4" long, 3" Yellow Peppers (bell peppers) .5 small Onions, raw 1 clove Garlic
1) Boil the pasta, and drain and cool.
2) Pick about 16-18 basil leaves. Put them in a food processor with the oil, vinegar, and garlic. Blend it up.
3) Place the basil mix in a jar with a tight lid. Add the water, salt, pepper, lime juice, and sugar. Shake it well. Taste, and adjust as desired.
4) Dice the yellow pepper, and onion. Place the pasta, diced vegetables, and basil dressing in a good sized bowl, and mix it well.
5) Serve with your favourite main dish.
