Ingredients
1 lb. lean hamburger, venison, or elk 3 slices of bacon, cooked and cut into 1/2" pieces1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped1 tsp garlic powder1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce 1 cup catsup 1 tsp mustard powder2 tsp salt, or to taste2 tsp black pepper, or to taste4 fl oz Water from tap, if needed
Directions
Fry the cut bacon till light brown. Remove from pan. Add onion and green pepper to the bacon grease in pan. Cook till translucent. Add burger to the onion and green pepper and fry till pink is gone. Add the cooked bacon, catsup, garlic, Worcestershire, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about an hour. The dish should be of a consistency to spoon onto a hamburg bun. If too dry, add water.
