Ingredients
1.20 serving Homemade Cottage Cheese (4 oz) = 112gr. (by TIANNI53) 100 grams Onions, raw 140 grams Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average 1 tsp Cumin seed 1 tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil 0.15 cup Cilantro - fresh (by HALLIC) 5 gram(s) Green chilly / Mirchi (by SMARTKAT) 0.45 tsp Kosher Salt (by 65PLUS1) .15 tbsp Organic Tumeric Powder - Feel Good Organics (by VENOMDESIGN)
Directions
Prep: Dice the green chilies, onions, and tomatoes and set aside in separate cups.
Directions: Heat the olive oil in a wok or pan, add cumin seeds and once they begin to splutter add in the onions. Saute until rosy brown (or according to your taste), and gently crumble the cottage cheese with your hands into this. Cook for 2-3 minutes, add the turmeric powder, tomatoes, green chilies and gently fold everything for about a minute. Add the salt, 7 tablespoons of water, cover with a lid and cook on sim for about 5 minutes (make sure the water doesn't completely dry out). Garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy with a carb of your choice or just as it is. I like having it with freshly made oilless whole wheat chapatis (tortillas).
