Hubby's stew

Ingredients
1 lb of beef, use cheapest cup - remove all fat2 tbsp. canola oil4 cups diced potatoes - about 4 med. sizedsmall onion - diced about 1 cup2 garlic cloves, chopped1/8 cayenne pepper1/2 tsp cilantro - driedbeef flavoring.. 2 tbsp2 tbsp corn starch1 tsp vinegar - your choice, I use white [all I could find on list was cidar]water
Directions
Peel and dice potaoes, onion and garlic cloves. Set aside.
Trim beef steak and dice into bite sized pieces
Pour canola oil into pot, heat.
Brown beef chunks, stirring occasionally.
Add cayenne and cilantro spices, stir.
Add potaotes, onions and garlic. Allow to brown up some.
Add water to cover.
Stir in beef flavoring.
Bring to boil then simmer until potaoes are cooked enough to your taste.
Bring back to vigorous boil.
In a small bowl add 1/2 cup of water or so, stir in 2 tbsp cornstarch.
Mix into stew. Stir until thickened.
Pour the tsp of vinegar into stew and serve.
