1/2 cup Red Split Lentils1/2 cup Robin Hood Large Oat Flakes1/2 cup raw cashew nuts4 cups of water1 tsp Onion powder 1 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Pepper, black
Place lentils, oats and cashews in a saucepan. Add water and cook about 20 minutes until lentils are very soft. Blend thoroughly with either an immersion blender or put in a blender, being careful not to burn yourself. You can let this cool off some, and then do it. Add seasonings and blend til creamy like gravy. Adjust salt and pepper as needed to taste. I made it a couple of hours early, then thinned it a bit more and heated it to serve.
