Spicy TVP Chili

1 c. TVP1 tsp. olive oil 1 Raw Onion (yellow used)1 clove Garlic1 can (14.5 oz.)Canned Tomatoes I can (15 oz.) Garbonzo Beans/Chick Peas.25 c. Tomato Paste.5 tbs. Balsamic Vinegar1 tbs. Lemon Juice2 tbs. Chipotle Seasoning (or to taste, used McCormick Gourmet Collection)1 tsp Cayenne Powder (or to taste, McCormick Gourmet Collection)2 tbs. Adobo Seasoning1 tsp. Powdered Garlic1 tsp. Powdered Onion
Rehydrate the TVP with enough boiling water to cover. Set aside.
Oil a medium-sized sauce pot with olive oil, sautee onions and garlic. Add rest of the ingredients, excluding the TVP.
Drain any excess water from TVP and add to the rest of the ingredients.
Cover and let simmer for at least 20 minutes, longer if possible.
Makes about 3-1c. servings, with about .5 c. leftover.
