Buttermilk Bisquits

Ingredients
Sift together:1 3/4 C all purpose flour1/2 tsp. salt2 tsp. double acting baking powder1 tsp. sugar1/2 tsp. baking sodaCut in:1/4 C. CriscoAdd and lightly mix:3/4 C buttermilk
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 F.

Turn dough out onto floured board. Knead gently for about 1/2 minute or 20 turns. Pat the dough to the thickness of 1/4 inch. Cut with a small biscuit cutter. Bake at 450 F for 10 to 12 minutes.
