Convenient Slow Cooker Lasagna

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef2 29 oz cans tomato sauce8 oz pkg lasagna noodles, uncooked8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded1 1/2 cups part skim ricotta cheese
Directions
Spray the interior of the cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Brown the ground beef in a large nonstick skillet. Drain off drippings.

Stir in tomato sauce. Mix well.

Spread one-fourth of the meat sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.

Arrange one- third of the uncooked noodles over the sauce. (I usually break them up so they fit better).

Combine the cheeses in a bowl. Spoon one-third of the cheeses over the noodles.

Repeat these layers twice.

Top with remaining sauce.

Cober and cook on low 4 hours.

Variations. Add 1 chopped onion to the ground beef while cooking.

Add 1 tsp salt to the tomato sauce and beef.

Add 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese to the mozzarella and ricotta.

Add 1/2 cup additional shredded mozzarella cheese to the top of the lasagna 5 min before serving.
