Melon, Prosciutto, and Mozzarella Brochettes

Ingredients
If melon isn't your cup of tea, consider using another type of like ripe peaches.Ingredients1/3 cup (packed) fresh basil leaves plus sprigs for garnish1 small (about 2-pound) cantaloupe, halved crosswise, seeded, cut into 6 wedges, peeled6 small fresh water-packed mozzarella balls or one 8-ounce ball, drained6 thin slices prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise, gathered into ruffle

Directions

Cut cantaloupe, mozarella and prosciutto into bite size pieces. Add finely cut resh basil.
Can be prepared 2 hours ahead; cover and refrigerate.

Bring to room temperature 15 minutes before serving.


Garnish with basil sprigs.

NOTE: I edited the recipe for ease of prep and also removed the oil. I didn't think the final product needed it and it saved on fat.
