Ingredients:20 cups mixed cooked beans, 20 servingOnions, raw, 1 largeCelery, raw, 1 cup, dicedGarlic, 3 tsp Whole Stewed Tomatoes, Canned, No salt, 3 Cup *Prego Spaghetti Sauce (flavored with meat), 3 cups *Bell Pepper (Green) 1 Med, Raw, 1 serving *Spinach, cooked, 2 cupWater, tap, 5 cup (8 fl oz) Spices to taste: Garlic, cilantro, basil, bay leaf, chili powder, onion powder, dried peppers, oregano, etc to give it your personal touch.
Makes about 15 servings, 2 cups per serving
Seve with Daddio's extra corny corn bread and brown rice for a 700 calorie meal that will leave you "stuffed" or cut everything in half (350 calories) and feel "pleasantly full".
Use prego vegetable sauce instead of meat sauce to make it a vegetarian and save a few calories too.
If using canned beans, rinse first to get rid of some of the salt.
Dump everything in the pot and simmer for an hour or so...or all day for a richer flavor. Add spices toward the end of the cooking time.
