Slow cooker chicken barley soup

Ingredients
Roasting Chicken, light meat, 2 cup, chopped or diced (or chicken breasts, chopped)Baby Carrots, raw, 12 large - cut in chunksCelery, raw, 1 cup, diced Parsnips, 0.5 cup slices Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped Garlic, 2 cloves - choppedBarley, pearled, raw, .5 cup Chicken Broth, 5 can (10.75 oz) 1 can of waterPlace all ingredients in slow cooker. Add salt and pepper and seasoning of your choice (i used herbs de provence) to taste. Cook on high for 3 hours or longer. I let mine simmer all day on a Sunday.
