Low Sugar Chocolate Cake with Flax

1 cup Splenda1/2 cup sugar3/4 cup cocoa powder3/4 cup whole wheat flour2/3 cup wheat bran1/3 cup flax seed meal1-1/2 tsp. baking powder1-1/2 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. salt1 1/3 cups buttermilk2 eggs2 tbsp. canola oil1 tsp vanilla1 cup boiling water
Preheat oven to 350. Spray 9"x13" baking pan with non-stick spray. In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients until mixed. Add boiling water and stir until combined. Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 35 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
