ground buffalo gravy

Ingredients
serving 4 - 3/4 cups1 lb ground buffalo1 (14.5 oz) beef broth, divided1 small onion, chopped2 T dried parsley flakes1 T dried basil1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp seasoning salt1/2 tsp pepper2 T cornstarchcan serve with mashed potatoes or cooked pasta or brown rice.
Directions
in a large skillet, cook beef until browned; drain
add 1 1/2 c beef borth then add onion, parsley, basil, garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper
simmer, uncovered for 5-10 minutes or until onion is tender
in a small bowl combine the arrowroot and remaining broth until smooth
stir into beef mixture
bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened
serve over mashed potatos or pasta or even brown rice.

    Good reminded my family of Salisbury steak. Served it over mashed potatoes, will defiantly keep this for a comfort food kind of day. - 1/18/16
