Banana Spice Minicakes

1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup all purpose flour1/2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp allspice1/2 tsp cloves1/4 tsp nutmeg1/2 cup brown sugar2 large bananas, mashed2 tbsp fresh grated ginger1/4 cup dark molasses1/4 cup maple syrup1/2 cup buttermilk1/4 cup oil (I used a light olive oil)
Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a mini-muffin pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices.
In another bowl, beat together brown sugar, banana, fresh ginger, molasses, maple syrup, buttermilk and oil.
Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Bake 15 minutes, turn out immediately and cool on a rack.
