South Beach( low fat version) asparagus soup

Ingredients
1 small onion1 clove garlic21/2 lbs. asparagus4 cups chicken broth low fat low saltsalt and pepper4 tsp Parmesan
Directions
place all ingredients except Parmesan cheese.
Boil for about 7 or 8 minutes.
Carefully pour into a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into bowls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
