Strawberry Pie

1 refrigerated pie crust2 pints strawberries, washed and hulled1 cup water1 package strawberry jello1/3 cup water3 tbsp cornstarch
Bake pie crust as directed. Meanwhile boil 1 cup of water. Add jell-o. In 1/3 cup water, stir cornstarch well then add to saucepan with jell-o . Stir in sugar and splenda. Return to boil, stirring constantly. Once mixture begins to thicken, reduce heat. Simmer a little longer, then remove from heat and allow to cool, stirring occasionally. Once mixture and pie crust are at room temperature, place strawberries in crust, then pour mixture over all. Refrigerate 2 hours. Top with whipped cream before serving.
