Beef, Spinach, and Quinoa Burgers

1/2 cup (dry) quinoa1 (10 oz) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and excess moisture squeezed out1 small onion, finely diced1 egg1 tbsp Montreal Steak seasoning1 tsp cuminPinch cayenne1 lb leanest ground beef (96%)
1. Cook quinoa to package instructions. Set aside until cool enough to handle. Place in a large bowl.
2. Add spinach, onion, egg and spices to bowl. Mix well with a fork.
3. Add beef and combine with clean hands. Form into 6 equally-sized patties.
4. Cook in a skillet on medium-high heat to desired doneness, or in a 400 degree oven for 20-30 minutes.
5. Serve on buns with favorite trimmings.
