creamy lasagna casserole

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef1 pound ground sausage meat32 oz ragu spaghetti saucegarlic to taste6 oz. lowfat cream cheese, softened2 cups (1 pt) lowfat sour cream2 cups mozzarella, divided4 green onions (or spanish)-chopped12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
Directions

Cook beef and sausage till brown, drain off fat. Cook longer with fresh garlic (2 tblsp or so) and onions.Season with salt and pepper if desired. Add ragu spaghetti sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
Spread meat sauce on bottom of pan, layer with noodles,top each noodle with 1/2 cream cheese mixture, cover with meat sauce,layer with noodles, then cheese mix then noodles and meat sauce. sprinkle some mozzarella over top of casserole.
Cover and freeze , for up to a month. Or bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. OLet stand 15 minutes before cutting.
It seems to taste better if I let it sit for a day in the refrig before cooking it. Cuts much nicer if you are patient and let it sit for the 15 minutes before serving!!!!
