Shrimp & Chorizo Pita Pizzas

5 medium shrimp, raw, shelled, and spliced lengthwise 1/4 link of chorizo, chopped(mexican pepperoni)1 whole wheat pita, small1 tbls hummus, any flavor -Roasted red pepper is very good with this! Shredded Cheese, preferable Monterey Jack or Manchego sheese. Top with bruschetta-optional
Take 1 pita and cover with hummus, like you would pizza sauce. Arrnage chopped up chorizo pieces and shrimp on top of hummus. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake on cookie sheet (I spray it with Pam) @ 500 degrees for 5 minutes, or until shrimp is cooked and cheese is browned to likeness. Let cool for a few minutes after removing from oven. An option is to then top with your favorite bruchetta topping. Slice with pizza cutter. Enjoy!
